Alongside them, our Junior Advisors serve as youth leaders and culture-keepers, helping welcome participants, support activities, and strengthen the community spirit that defines OBY. Together, our staff and Junior Advisors form a powerful village committed to guiding girls toward growth, leadership, and joy.

OBY Junior Advisors
Junior Advisors are standout teen members of OBY who lead by example: showing up with kindness, reliability, and a genuine desire to lift other girls up. They support program activities, assist facilitators, and make sure every new member feels welcome from day one. The role is also an investment in them: Junior Advisors grow their voice, practice real leadership, and build the kind of confidence that carries beyond OBY.

Operation Be You (OBY) is a tax-exempt organization (Employer Identification Number 85-4083631) under Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code. Based in Lexington, KY, OBY focuses on the development and empowerment of all girls, teaching them how to overcome fear, effectively communicate, and become more mindful and motivated.
