Celebrating Black History: KY State Capitol Tour 2024

Operation Be You, Inc. is celebrating Black History Month by educating girls on black history makers at the KY State Capitol.

Senator Gerald Neal has extended an invitation for Operation Be You, Inc. to visit the KY State Capitol during their Black History Month Experience Celebration as well as an opportunity to go onto the senate floor to observe the legislature convening!  This is a great way for our young ladies to observe our state legislatures in action.

Lunch will be provided.

There are 12 seats available.  All others will be placed on a waiting list in the event of a cancellation.

OBY will provide transportation.  A meeting location will be determined and communicated to all participants. 

Also, schools are in session this day.  It's the responsibility of the parent / guardian to gain approval for an excused absence for this event.

Additional information will be given to all participants prior to the event.
