Event Details
This workshop brings the voices of descendants of nation builders into the forefront of our public spaces providing a way to honor the unacknowledged builders of our country through the creation of narratives that speak of the power of ancestry.
Youth will be educated on the concept of Nation Builders, then craft a personal narrative that responds to this concept, and ultimately to share their narratives with their peers.
This experience magnifies the thoughts and voices of our youth which is vital for cultivating a generation of informed, empathetic, and proactive leaders.
Lunch & Refreshments will be provided.
