Yesterday, OBY Junior Advisors / I Was Here Ambassadors took the stage at The Melroy to lead an I Am A Descendant of Nation Builders Juneteenth Celebration. They were phenomenal!!!!

This event celebrated our newest graduates who completed the four-series Nation Builder Workshop as well as a special youth performance by Annajoy Donkor and spoken word and experiences from the I Was Here Ambassadors.

Thank you Marjorie Guyon for giving Operation Be you to co-create this amazing workshop and event. You have given these young leaders a platform to be seen and heard. We are truly grateful for you.

A heartfelt thank you to Briana Gaylord Persley and the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Division of Youth Services for always supporting our youth! You are simply amazing!
