It was a Celebration!!!!
Today, we celebrated the country's 250th Birthday by participating in the July 4th parade in Lexington - the city we love!!!
We celebrated with our OBY Family - the absolute best of the best! We could not have done this without the unwavering support from the parents/ guardians, grandparents, etc. Thank you all so, so much!!!!
And who made an appearance....none other than the first crowned Miss Juneteenth - Ryleigh Williams, Miss Junior Juneteenth - Campbell Henderson, as well as 1st Junior Runner Up - Annajoy Donkor, Miss Junior Juneteenth Contestant - KayLynn Ayers, and Miss Congeniality - Jhaziah Dixon!
Two of our Junior Advisors - Jocie Henderson-Louis and Za'Kyra Ingram - led the group through crowded streets by carrying the banner. You rocked it!!!
And a big THANK YOU to all of the OBY members who participated in today's parade! You displayed the spirit and energy as descendants of this country's nation builders. Our ancestors were pleased.
